La roue des merveilles, Harold Feinstein

Cahiers #6, published by the Centre de la photographie de Mougins, is as polymorphous and multifaceted as Harold Feinstein himself. It includes a scientific contribution on the legacy of the New York Photo League, writings on the Jazz Loft, the photographer's collaborations with jazz labels Blue Note and Signal, and with W. Eugene Smith (Pittsburgh Project), as well as a text on Coney Island, a leitmotif of the seventh art since the early 20th century, with its amusement park and lights at night. Cahiers #6 also covers Harold Feinstein's participation as a GI in the Korean War and shows the photographer's commitment as a teacher and mentor, all to the tunes of Duke Jordan, Lee Morgan and Gigi Gryce.
