"Stefano De Luigi's idea of working on the sites of the Odyssey with a simple smartphone perpetuates its relationship with modern technologies. Yesterday it was film, today it's digital media, the new ideal travel companion, whose infinite potential he explores. Accustomed to long-term editorial projects, and a keen observer of changes in our society, De Luigi has scoured the Mediterranean, drawing a constant parallel between the classical and contemporary worlds.

His project offers a myriad of interpretations: a revisitation of the Odyssey set in today's context; a look at the Mediterranean as a stage for new and dramatic peregrinations; a journey in the footsteps of Western civilization; a reflection on the use of media.
